The staff are all super nice and the gentleman at the front desk were very helpful booking tours and with information on where to go eat. Our A/C had a few issues even when the power was on but when it worked it was great! Lots of locals seemed to stay here and the food was pretty good.

A great place to stay. Mesmerizing view of Rapti river cutting the forest. Can see animals during evening. Good layover place. Rooms are good. AC room are well furnished. Just a complain no AC remote at room so have to use mobile IR sensor to activate it and no control iver temperature.
Offers jungle safari by themselves, good driver and polite guide
Overall A good place to stay.

Very bad service. so many hidden charges they don't inform early. My experience with this hotel is not very good. My suggestion to those who willing to visit Sauraha before check-in in any hotel first enquiry all free service and paid service in detail. Other wise they make your bill extremely high. Hotel Riverside is not exception

Visited a long time ago, when it was still one of the few riverside properties, well-managed by friendly Deurba, hopefully still in charge? He was sharing his luck with the local community, a commendable effort.

Probably the worst place to be, disgusting hospitality and their policy for payment are one of a kind. Breakfast served was worst than I can ever imagine. I quickly had to change my horror filed experience to much better one. Room stinks like anything. The pool service policy was I never heard of. Disgusted to be there! This hotel seems perfect oasis to all cheap stuff loving people. Dirty room and dirty bathroom.

And if you check 'The Review's esp at the ones given 3 star or below; the replies are mostly a promise to upgrade their errors and hospitality services and yet in such a long time duration, they failed to meet the expectations of guest coming to their hotels.

I booked a stardard room bt while paying bill they say you hav booked deluxe room n charge more bt its okay they charged more bt the hotel delux room was like hell a/c wasn't working properly wifi also not working n was too slow there was no telephone to connect to reception you have to call through your own cellphone..don't book any kind of offer from hotel like jeep safari,elephant ride canoeing..because they charged you 30 to 40% more..while if you book outside at ticket center(you can find easily a lot ticket booking centers nearby roads)you can book at cheap price than hotels..
Swimming pool was good,n also breakfast..n lunch was good too bt rice???? wasn't good at all..
You can pay bill through online payments..thanks

Rooms are not well equipped with basic amenities like Wifi signal was missing inside the room. Overall service was poor. Unprofessional staffs.
