Best place in Nepal ever.
The food is amazing.
The staff is so friendly and helpful.
The place is really ecological, they don’t use “green” just because it’s a kind of fashion to be green : dry toilet, iron straw, recycling, bamboo and mud houses…etc.
The common area is perfect to chill.
Hot water.
A lot of vegetation and birds in the morning.
The guides they will provide in order to be able to get into the jungle are very nice and competent.
We planned to stay 3 days, we stayed more than a week, could have stayed monts.
Go there and enjoy.

The room described online more than it was. Bath in the room, but without hot water and barely water stream. The food was average and not that cheap, smoothies were very good. The workers in the place were lovely and smiling.

This ecolodge is awesome. They build cabins and rooms from recycled stuff. They also used empty bottles to build rooms and walls.

The toilet is also used for fertilizer. So they catch it with a bucket and you sprinkle soil to cover and fertilize it. They will reuse it for growing vegetables.

The stuff is friendly. They have great ideas about reusing waste and starting projects to make them true. You can help them by volunteer.

Very few places can honestly stamp eco into their name but this place truly tries to achieve a term eco place. Set under the canopy of trees and enormous plants this place has created an atmosphere all it's own. We got a lovely welcome here. The staff do everything for you to feel included.

This is definitely a great place to stay if you are up for a unique experience that is more like camping. It's a great place to meet fellow travelers and minimize the environmental impact of traveling. The composting toilets were some of the cleanest toilets I used in Nepal, the staff was really friendly, and they help you book all the fun jungle adventures while you are there. I highly recommend the jungle walk and the elephant happy hour!

Great place to spend few days in Sauraha and chill. The place is design like a small village in the jungle, were you sleeping in huts or small cabin. Great atmosphere and a design oriented toward ecological movement (dry toilet, plant based water treatment). The food they served is very tasty
