This is a crazy place you must visit at least once! The ambience is amazing, you get the newari village feels. The staff are dressed in traditional newari dish. Becareful, it is crowded during the evening time of weekends, but that makes the ambience even better. Its amazing how they can still manage orders with so many people they can accommodate. You have to sit on the floor, i dont remember seeing any table and chairs, typical newari feel. On the weekends, its difficult to find a place to sit, we had to wait for about 10 mins until a group left, but once you are seated the service is suprisingly fast. Being a newar myself, i have no complaints about the food, everything is authentic and tastes good. Again, since this place is usually crowded, I have no doubt about the freshness of the food they serve. They have an interesting bamboo hookah. This place is perfect for gatherings and drinking alcohol. There is a band that plays during the evening and a big courtyard where everyone can dance, its even fun to watch. They have tried to keep the bathroom clean, but not when it gets over crowded. They have a decent parking space. I am really suprised how they manage the orders of such a big crowd (at least they did not mess up our order, but i cannot guarantee you that wont happend during the peak hours). Not a place if you are looking for a peaceful place. You have to visit here with friends and family, try the local rakshi and dance!

This is the place everyone must go if you need 10/10 authentic and yummy food. SASA has insanely beautiful courtyard structure. Staffs are super polite and helpful. It's bummer that you can't shot with camera but thats not a big deal.

Sasa: Twa, a newly opened restaurant, exudes a rich indigenous Newari perception. The richness of the restaurant's traditional design envelopes you; Sasa: Twa has been thoughtfully created to reflect cultural aspects not only in design but also on the menu. We were amazed by the staff's likeability, responsiveness, and quickness.

Amazing traditional Nepali food. Great Décor. Must try the Nepali traditional hookah and rice wine.

My experience with the restaurant was not good at all. They have some really cool elements with the traditional newari vibe and specially the hookah. But the food was not good at all. Taste wise, the samaye baji set was very bad with only the mixed achar on it tasting good. The chicken chhoila was so oily and unappealing and the taste was very bad as well. The momo was decent but the achaar was not good. The plain bara tasted decent but soaked too much of oil. The fish was not well cooked. The staffs are very unprofessional and the place is filled with smell of alcohol which might not be liked by everyone. The foods are also very overpriced and no good value for money both portion as well as taste wise.

Apart from the food, ambience plays a major role and I don't think there is a single complaint from my side. It feels like we have time-travelled to the period of ancient Nepal. This place should clearly be listed in the "must visit" place for everyone coming to Nepal.

Ambiance is really nice with traditional Newari architect. Foods and services are also good. But the tongues we ordered were hard, burnt, rubbery. The servers was trying n very pushy to sell which was annoying. Order small pot of Chang n he brought the large one. Only realized after Cheque was presented. Anyway all in all good foods n ambiance
