Located at Kritipur hill, this place serves authentic newari cuisine and various other dishes. There are two restaurants at the same place both are lahana. One of them is a roof top that provides great view. The foods were very good. The service was okay because there were some miscommunication as they usually speak Newari only.

Newa Lahana, best newari restaurant.

It includes a rich indigenous Newari perception. The richness of the restaurant's traditional design envelopes you. Newa Lahana has been thoughtfully created to reflect cultural aspects not only in design but also on the menu. We were amazed by the staff's likeability, responsiveness, and quickness.

This is one of the 2 (very) traditional Newari restaurants located next to one another in central Kirtipur.

Nice place to eat authentic newari cuisines. Worth trying out the samay baji set.

Newari rice beer (chhyang) here is not too sweet (as it should be).

However the location was a bit difficult to find. The servers were also not available even though the place was not too busy.

Orders are usually fast, but some dishes may take some time to be prepared.

you won't regret after visiting here. you can enjoy the beautiful view from here. Service to the customers is good enough. You can enjoy the traditional foods. And the price as well as view form here, both are comparatively better than the sasa.
