Best restaurant for Nepalese Thakali Khana (meal) in Hetauda. It is usually crowded during meal time. It serves Vegetarian meals including rice, black lentils, green leafs, pickles, seasonal vegetables, local ghee and curd. It also serves chicken and mutton for non vegetarians. They serve a full meal (thali system) with a fixed (flat) charge. The taste of food items are satisfactory. The approach road is narrow and parking is not sufficient. Staff are helpful and cooperative.

The food here is delicious. This place looks like one of the best places to eat in this area. If you are also looking for a place to eat, this place may be suitable for you. I recommend to all of you for tired food.

Authentic thakali food. Great taste. Nice ambience. Maybe a little tricky to find using Google maps.

Food is amazing, service is very quick and outstanding, one of the best thakali Khana set in Nepal with best service and good music environment.
I request you to visit this place for a typical Nepali food. Best part of the food is pickle, daal, and mutton and chicken. Thank you for all your hard work which makes our tummy hot. Loves this place ... please come to visit this place.

Our fourth Thakali lunch during our travel between Kathmandu and Jhapa. I would rate four among the four Thakali lunches we had during this travel period. Service was mediocre, place was tidy and spacious. Staff and service was average. Road side car parking is recommended at your own risk, as restaurant doesn't have enough car parking space.

The veg food cost Rs. 325. Food was not hygienic type. We felt it because once we ate around 10 AM. For the whole day, we felt a kind of uneasiness in stomach , not feeling of hunger till evening. Not recommended.

One of the best mutton khana set in the town. Plus mutton pakku is a must try dish.
