We came here in an early morning around 7am, the weather was so great and there are many people around here - walking, jogging and biking. The architecture was impressive, but can’t get in to that building, but we could wandering the outside. This area is a really good place for taking photograph.

It is a very nice place at that area particularly alongside at the stream. You can see smokes discharge decorating the area. There are also very beautiful and big wall painting on the building nearby. A very nice photo taking place for tourists.

Take a stroll on the grass lawn and soak in the views of the historic square of independence. Walk past the old era buildings and the beautiful Sultan Abdul Samad building. Gaze upon the tallest flagpole. Don't miss the Victorian era fountain near the flagpole. From near the flagpole, you get a view of the famous KL skyline having the Twin Towers, KL tower and the new Merdeka 118. Recommended to visit after sunset as there are no places to take shelter from the sun. Also, the entire place is lit at night and is a beautiful sight overall!

A good place for a early Sunday morning outing. The car free day is a healthy and good family bonding session. There are also horse carriage for the children to be excited about.

There is only 1 public toilet available during the car free day route so plan early.

A good place to chill and to have a picnic esp during Ramadan iftar. Have loads of food trucks and program carried out during that month. Besides,it is also a good place to learn more about the history of KL since there are loads of historical buildings in the vicinity.

A place to snap good pictures with all the heritage buildings and historical landmarks as backgrounds. Below the vast open field is a carpark for city folks. I suppose the field is well drained in the raining days with the subsoil perforated pipes. Almost all interested iconic landmarks are within walking distance. Just needs one to put on a pair of comfortable shoes and a bottle of any drink. Discovery of Kuala Lumpur awaits you.

Historical place. Mainly for tourist. Sun was unbearable after around 10 so would definitely suggest to go early. All the cultural attractions are within walking distance so it's a perfect point to start a walking tour around KL.
