I stayed in one of their suites. It was very nice and has a separate livingroom. The food is great. Their dinner buffet isn't cheap, but it was worth the money. The breakfast is equally satisfying. I really liked their soups. The pool is nice and was clean when we were there. If the clouds let you see it, they have a great view too.

Its a 5 star hotel in Pokhara !! the location is perfect, near by airport. The ambiance is superb !! Big garden with walking space, maintenance is poor.

The rooms are average, if we compare to others 5 star hotel in Nepal. It could be better if they renovated the rooms and washroom.

Huge sprawling building, but that's it. The hotel doesn't have lift facility in both the main building and the annexe building. Food is served in the first floor of the main building. Very inconvenient for senior citizens. Service is not at all good. Food is not always good. The staff is not friendly at all. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Really disappointed with Pokhara Grande's food and service. We checked in Pokhara Grande by 7.30pm and at 8pm we hit the restaurant and placed the order for food. till 9pm there is no sight of any waiter . AC also was not working. After much hue n cry the food came by 9.30. It was like they were obligating us for serving food. Extremely short staff.
Very Very disappointed by the breakfast buffet the next morning. Absolutely no choice for vegetarian people. Somehow they fail to calculate the quantity to be cooked for the no. Of guests.
Could have given negative rating if there was a choice.
Any case we shifted to Mount kailash Resort. What a relief

It was a good 2 days stay there at Pokhara Grande.

The hospitality wasn't something good that you would expect from a 5 star hotel. We (friends) were seating nearby pool and asked for some bottle of water, the guy came with some bottles but asked the payment right there rather adding it on the bill. We were also told that we can use the swimming pool.

Rating 1 Star because negative rating is not available. Hope you understand. Don't trust that this hotel received a 4.5 rating on google.

I have never had such a bad experience at any property like I had here at this property. I am on a 2 day stay at Grande Pokhara and I booked this after seeing 4.5 rating of thia property everywhere. However, to my utter surprise, right from the moment I reached here everything turned out bad. To start with, once we reached our rooms, ACs were not working. After coming from an exhausting flight journey already, the least that we expect is comfortable room but ACs were not working in all our 4 rooms. Next that happened was that the flush in the bathroom got over filled and all water came out. Imagine the plight of a customer who has paid such a huge amount for booking a so called 4.5 star hotel. BTW it doesn't end here! The next issue we faced was with lunch. When we reached we requested if can get lunch by 2pm. While the hotel manager agreed and accordingly after getting late due to ACs nit working and a power cut in the hotel just after that, we managed to reach for lunch by 1:50pm and when we began eating, all food was served cold.
After having spoiled our experience, we requested hotel to give us our refund for 2nd day so that we can book a decent stay for us atleast for a day. However the hotel clearly refused not only did they understand or resolve our issues but simply refused to accommodate us inspite of such major gaps on their part.

I would also like to mention that in the night I ordered for a pastry as it was my husband's bday and the pastry was stale. When I called up to inform the hotel, I got an amazing response I.e. but you didn't pay for it.

Never seen such major lapses in hospitality at any hotel specially the ones with 4.5 ratings. I am wondering are these ratings even true!
