This is a beautiful and ancient cave that depicts Hindu Mythology. It is said that Lord Shiva used to meditate here. The caves were so beautiful it's an must visit place whenever you visit Pokhara, Nepal.

An ancient and a good cave . Lots of statues and cravings depicting Hindu mythology are made before actual enterence .a lot of sovereign shops where you may buy things but require bargaining skills. Safety mechanism appeared low scale to me. But the place is must visit one

Holy place in Nepal and exact location near Davis fall pokhra.very beautiful place but Nepal government should be more systematic for maintenance and cleaning for this place very bad smell coming in cave not proper lighting arrangements here. And this a temple they are hiring for this.

A beautiful place to visit. During heavy rainfall and after 6 pm, cave is closed. No photograph is allowed inside the temple.

There is not ticket for this the entry is free.
So beautiful and it is in the downstairs.
A small market is also there for shopping clothes footwear warm clothes jackets toys etc.
This place is situated near hotel Pokhara grand.

Marvellous natural cave underground. You also get to view the water flowing in it from the nearby 'Davis Fall' waterfall. It's a wonderful experience. Entry fee for a foreign national is NPR 100.

Very Nice experience of visiting Under ground cave fully spacious but humidity is 100 cent. very nicely created and proper lightning was provided. Although it is still under construction. I ask the Pandit ji what this is all about they were not aware about what its actual representation. So it is all About Samuder Manthat those who studied ramayan are aware about that. One of the huge stalagmite is usually worshipped as Shiva Lingam. The peaceful atmosphere of the cave will definitely soothe your senses and will let you introspect a little bit.

The Gupteshwar Mahadev Cave is a combination of Devi’s fall in the upstream and the cave in the downstream, one has to climb down the metal stairs to have a real look. Although it is a bit scary but its definitely worth a watch.

Price: Rs.50 to Rs.100.
