It's quite tough to review a temple on stars, a temple has value as per spiritual beliefs not rathe as per physical appearance or aesthetic view. Still I can say it's very old and famous temple. Local people as as outsiders donate offerings to temple as per their beliefs.
Main temple contains statue of goddess bageshwori devi. Apart from main temple, there is a lake, an open place for jeev Bali(sacrificing livestock) as hen goat etc as offerings to Devi.
This place could have been managed better. I wish I can update it to 5 star at my next visit

Bageshwori temple is known to be one of the oldest in the region, and the oldest temple in Banke District.

Bageshwori Temple is one of the most important Hindu Temples in Nepal.
It is at the center of Nepalgunj, the biggest city in Mid- Western Region. It is dedicated to goddess Bageshwori Durga.

The Bageshwori pond that is situated within the temple area is also famous among the devotees, specially for the reason that the temple of Shiva with mustache stands at the center of it.

Couldn't attend the evening aarati, personnel requested us to wait outside because it has been like that since covid time and also too many people making tiktok and all doesn't help, he said. Beautiful evening. Pond could be cleaner. People should avoid use of plastic as much as possible. ॐ नमः शिवाय
