This temple has a lot of importance in Hindu Mythology. It is usually said by the locals that your wishes are fulfilled here. But you can take two way cable car ticket and can visit this temple. Or on the uphills there is also provision for stay, so you can take one way ticket and can stay there, complete the darshan and can come next day.

This is a temple which has a significant importance for the locals as well as Indians.
It is believed that whatever you want comes true once you visit this temple and have faith in the supreme power.
The temple is on a hilltop and can be reached either by cablecar or shared taxi. For shared taxi you need to cross the suspension bridge by foot. You can also go there on your motorcycle provided you can ride on gravel off-road.

The temple which has a significant importance for the locals as well as Indians.
We can go by rope way or by jeep. To go by jeep we need to cross river and get from there. The place is best for night stay as well. It feels like we are inside sky when traveling via cable car and it is little foggy.

Manakamana Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Goddess Bhagwati, an incarnation of Parvati.
Mana” means hearts and “Kamana” means wishes, therefore, Manakamana means the Goddess of heart’s wishes.
It is situated in the village of Manakamana in Gorkha District in Nepal.
This is a beautiful artistic two-storeyed pagoda-style temple of Goddess Durga.

How to reach Manakamana Temple?
In earlier times, the only way to reach the Manakamana temple was by a long strenuous trek for about three hours.

Now, there is a facility of a cable car. The cable car rides over the distance of 2.8 kilometres (1.7 mi) in 10 minutes more or less.

In my experience, the ride was for 10 to 15 minutes and it was indeed enjoyable. While I was in the cable car, I saw the mountains, farms, green pastures land and river. Scenes so surreal and worth watching.

Cost of Cable Car: There is different prices for Nepalese citizens and foreign. This means cost for cable car ride is little more for India tourists.
However, the Nepali currency is less expensive Indian rupee. So, no worries.

Safety is a concern while riding in Cable Car?
No. Not at all. Its safe and well ventilated. Cable car is airy and safe. The cable car system was imported from Austria and guarantees a hundred percent safety.
I felt all safe, enjoyed the beauty of nature on the way to Manakamana temple.

Timings of cable car:
The cable car usually operates during the daytime from 9 am to 5 pm.

How many people can sit in the cable car at a time?
The number of passengers per carrier is 6.

After you get out of Cable Car. You will need to walk for 1.5- 2kms. That way to the temple is full of stairs accompanied by shops selling Nepali jewellery, idols, show pieces, earrings, necklaces.

It was crowded when I visited and stood in the queue for almost 3 hours and then the queue started moving. You will get to see Monkeys all over. Beware of monkeys. Though, it was treat to watch them play and jump all around.

Blue sky views from Manakamana Temple was beautiful.

Manakamana (Man-Heart, Kamana-Wish)
Its a Hindu temple where disciples pray to fulfill their demands and wishes. The temple is located at a hill so there's a cable car service via which you can get there.
I believe any religious site should be open and not crowded. Manakamana too used to be an open temple with greenery all around. But due to its popularity and growth in tourism, the temple premises is too crowded. I don't love coming here anymore ????
