Patan Durbar Square is filled with historical places from temples to museums and fascinating nooks and crannies.
Local businesses thrive there as it is a hot destination for tourists. The local people living there are very warm and welcoming and when asked will tell you all about the history of this place. When you visit the area, you will find different restaurants, cafes and even vendors that will serve you both hot u0026 cold beverages. It is also the oldest shopping destination where you can find daily goods.
The ambience of there is totally different which you will not find anywhere else. It is a must visit place when you are in K-town to have fun and spend time with your family and friends!!

The square is one of the most visited and historical places in the city. The square is a complex of temples, museums, and history. The museum you need to buy at the entrance of the square and there are washrooms and a charging point in the museum. There are many cafeterias near an open market. The square is well connected to public transportation and usually crowded on weekends.

Amazing place mostly jammed with locals sipping a cup of hot beverages and spending time with thier loved ones. There are entrance fee for few of the architectures within the premises but it is really nice. This place was destructed during the last earthquake so there is still some construction work happening for some the structures

When you seat at a five hundred years old Patan Darbar square built by our ancestors, where every thing you see or touch is a master piece just chiselled out from the hardest rock to the thickest and strongest wood we have ever known!!! It has always mesmerized me by its beauty and glorious period that our ancestor's has lived. I am blessed to be here and see feel the past glory and capture in my camera.....????????????

An old castle in the middle of the city. This is about 20 mins drive from Kathmandu.

Very picturesque. If you are interested in the history behind the place, you shall hire a guide.

Parking is available nearby and plenty of restaurants also.
