This place can be a little hard to find, since you have to walk through a dimmed hallway. It’s a good place to visit if you’re not wanting the main restaurants in the circle.

I have visited twice during my stay in Kathmandu.
Once I came for breakfast, and once for lunch. It isn’t the best environment, but the food is good and the price is very reasonable.

Seemed to have gotten better. Service time has improved drastically to non-Nepali standards! Taste and portion size are much better than all the restaurants here at the moment. Terrible photo below but it's my customised version of a chicken sizzler without sizzling plate.

Avoid the breads though if you don't like hard bread.

It's a great place for those who like cozy and quiet ambiance. If you are a potato-cheese (cheese-potato) momo lover, then you need to come here as very few restaurants in the area serve the dish. Well, prices could have been a bit reasonable considering the location.

Nir's, or "Toast" as its known to its fans, is a prime breakfast spot for westerners studying at one of the many Dharma or language programs in Boudha. You'll see lots of old dogs here, too, so it is a pretty good spot for people watching, as long as you like watching mostly westerners. Good basic breakfast and often wonderful, tasty pastries, both inexpensive and filling. Avoid the fancier sounding choices and you will be happier, generally. Coffee, as is common in Boudha, is drinkable at best; stick with the hot lemon and honey, adding a black tea bag. As with other Boudha standards, people linger here for hours, studying, arguing and pontificating while consuming pot after pot of tea or water or nothing at all.

Great variety of dishes. Own Bakery. Also you can ask for home made cheese from mountains. Taste like Italian parmigiana)

It offers good food. It has friendly employees. The restaurant is cosy. They make really good bread and other bakery items. I like it.
