Maitidevi Temple or Maitidevi Pancha Kumari Temple is Licchavi Era Temple. On Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, devotees flock here. Devotees believe that what they desire will be fulfilled when they visit here.The temple complex is spacious. It is crowded during Dashain (navaratri) periods. This single tiered pagoda style looks very beautiful. The gold plated roof enhances the beauty of the temple.

Maitidevi temple is believed to be the parental home of all goddesses. According to legends and the priest, the original form of prayer here needs burning of human skulls. A ghaat(crematorium) is nearby the temple as an integral part of this temple. This temple was originally built during the regime of Lichhavi King Shiva Dev, the modern structure of this temple was built by Rana prime minister Chandra Shumsher.

The temple is composed in a pagoda style . "Maitidevi" deity , the goddess is worshipped with great importance. Visit to religious places opens your valuable aspect of existence. They have shops nearby, from flowershops to small tea stalls after you're done with puja, but the parking space is roadside.

Such a divine power place.
Mata maiti Devi is believed that she is parental goddess.
The hole temple area is really powerful place and temple is really beautiful with wood working structure
