The biggest airport of Sudurpashchim Province (Far Western of Nepal). It's being planned to upgrade it capacity to promote this airport into regional airport.

There are daily regular 6 two way flights to Kathmandu by three major airliners ( Buddha Air, Shree Airlines and Saurya Air)

Apart from this the airport also provides direct flight to Pokhara in a weekly basis and at the same time the airport is providing flight services to hilly districts of Sudurpashchim ( Achham, Baitadi).

Why security personnel own this place? We were not allowed in the airport amidst freezing cold as the “airport wasn’t open due to weather”. Most stupid officers I’ve witnessed. There were elderly people and children amongst 150 passengers.

Nice airport, not much crowded, and farther from city makes it cool!
Their recent rearrangement in the terminal makes it a little congested but that's probably for safety.

Nice Airport. Very Important airport as it connects so many areas of far western Nepal.

The Dhangadhi airport nowadays is popular and busy due to its mountain flights to hilly districts of far-western region and normal flight to other parts of Nepal. It is well maintained in terms of space but there are more areas to improve. One can get autos and taxi easily during the airplane arrivals, small canteen for tea and snacks is OK and the friendliness and helpfulness of the staffs here won't disappoint you.

Good Airport. Airport is neat and tidy. The airport has enough chairs for waiting. As Dhangadhi is hot place, the airport doesn't give chance to feel extra hot. It has numerous fans for you. Water is available, restroom is clean too.
