Well decorated, clean and tidy place. Taste is not bad. Portions are acceptable. Rice is a tad dry though. Loved the Assam laksa soup. Food serving is quite slow though. Expect a wait during peak hours.

Salty and sweet (for the desserts) for my preference. But to be fair, for some people who like savory food and have a sweet tooth this is a must try place.

Their chili/sambal is really good! And their specialty chicken is done right!

People might find their pricing in mid point for the food type, but it compensates the serving. One meal is good for sharing.

Having little time for lunch at Peranakan Place. We chose this restaurant because it was in One Utama shopping Mall.
This restaurant serves authentic Peranakan Cuisine. The interiors have a heritage feel. The food was good and are delicious at an affordable price. The cendol is very delicious too. Give a try if you ever drop by One Utama Mall.

Food taste wise is average. The grilled fish was a little on a drier side for me and the chicken wasn't as juicy as I thought it would be. The noodles is alright.. Prawns are tiny.. Perhaps from the impact of inflation. Service was good. Older Aunty was helpful n accommodating with seating options

Ambience: colourful interior and crowded during peak hours but allow reservations ahead

Service: attentive

Food: laksa had very less meat in it so i was quite disappointed. Other dishes are generally average in taste and portions

Decoration is nice.
Waitress service are good.

We ordered Asam Laksa, Nyonya Laksa, Rendang Beef, Peranakan Fried Rice and Pai Tee.
The foods seems nice. But not tasty as last time we came.
Soup watery. Rice normal.

Overall the taste and texture just so so only.

And, They put the pop song music too loud like disco. Very noisy and irritating our appetite.

I've been to this restaurant many time. It's good that it was able to survive the pandemic lockdown, however, the dishes are not as authentic as it was before. We left a lot of our food not eaten at the end of our lunch. Please buckle up, I would still like to see you around.
