We booked an apartment suite, the space is quite spacious and everything is functioning well albeit a bit dated, except the remote control for aircond seemed to be a bit old.

The room is generally okay, just that the acoustic is not really there and you can hear the external noise quite clearly.

Breakfast is fine, the environment for breakfast is nice, especially the outdoor area where you can enjoy the morning breeze.

The price is quite reasonable, and the staff service is really nice.

Buffet breakfast was really delicious and a good spread of local and western food.
Location was close to town and next to river and park which was great and relaxing.

However marred by poor customer mindset and facilities. Wall light was missing/removed u0026 safe deposit boxes were without battery or not working in 2 rooms. Door lock not working. Shocking for a 4 star at RM290+ p/room!

More shocking when
(1) front desk commented that I cannot give bad reviews when not given opportunity to rectify. In the 1st place please check/ensure all facilities work before releasing rooms to customers.
(2) duty manager asked if we really need the safe deposit box.
Wrong mindset ie only provide if customer complains or requests not coz it’s expected and more so in this hospitality industry and for a 4 star at that rate.

Duty manager upgraded 2 rooms with problems when some issues couldn’t be rectified. That we appreciate but they could have started it all right. We lost hours of rest waiting for workers to repair and for changing rooms. Manager was kind to extend check out due to lost time. Thanks
Start with right mindset and you will be fine.

The resort is well maintained with a good ambience. Location is nice and nearby Kinta river front has kids activities. Morning breakfast served as complementary was also good. Still can improve more to attract customers.

Online booking for king bed but once i reached the hotel, the operator told me that type of room already full so they offered me double bed type, as I’m travel alone that should be no issue for me. Room cleanliness are at the top notch, basic amenieties available. It just that the air conditioning need some servicing.

The room was big and thats the only plus point. Nothing else was satisfactory based on my experience for the price of the room. Toilet wasn't clean with strands of hair laid strewn on the floor. If you are a light sleeper, be warned that music opposite the hotel only shuts off at 12am and I was on the 12th floor. Walls are thin as noise from adjacent rooms and hallway can be heard. I wouldn't stay here again. Parking on site and free for guests. It's an old hotel and I wonder why it's 4 star!!!

Stayed at Deluxe Room level 15 with two single beds. Check in process was smooth, i checked in at 2.30pm. But saw many people waiting in lobby at 4pm.

Old furnished hotel with bath tub. There are even scratch everywhere on wall. No face towel provided.

But the bed was comfortable. Parking was easy with two basement level. The view was splendid facing the kinta riverwalk. Easy drive to the city centre. Many choices of breakfast. We came down for breakfast at 9.30am and it was comfortable experience since the dining hall was beautiful. Kids really enjoyed the bath tub btw ???? Got 7eleven at lobby.

As a conclusion, it is a great choice if you don’t mind to stay in an old furnished hotel.

Did not stay at the hotel or the suites. I live in a residential neighbourhood immediately adjacent to the suites. On the night of the 2nd May and from 6.30am on the 3rd of May, there was extremely loud Indian music emanating from the pool area of the suites. The residents were alarmed and distrurbed by the lack of civic consciousness of the people responsible who were doing this. At 6.50am, I informed the security guards at the lobby of the suites to please do something about it but they said there was nobody at the pool. Upon pressing the matter, they said they would inform their management. From their responses and sidestepping the issue, i went to tell the security guards at the hotel to see if they could help. They were extremely helpful and kind. The music could not be heard at the hotel entrance but could be from the rear of the suite complex. They also informed the suites were managed by a different group of people from the hotel. A kind neighbour and I concurred the loud Indian music was indeed emanating from the suite pool, as we stood by his house next door to the suites compound. With this information, it is hoped that management of the suites will take appropriate measure to avoid such incidents, especially since the suites are located within a residential neighbourhood as part of their corporate social responsibility.
