Good sweet cendol, tasty fruit rojak and addictive (and expensive) deep fried battered bananas. The quality of the food is good and worthwhile especially if you're a tourist in search of local Penang food. It took us a while, barely 10 minutes, before we got a seat. The custom is the moment your food and drinks arrive, you'll have to pay the server or vendor in cash. While the seating arrangements inside are cramp, the establishment is old and has a lot of history. The servers and vendors were friendly and efficient.

Delicious and popular with locals and foreigners On holidays in the morning there will be a lot of people. The restaurant has photographs for many of the celebrities who have eaten at the restaurant. I think , original taste of laksa I don't know what it is, but for me, each shop has different ways of doing it. Differently delicious
Must try!!!!

Laksa
Chendol
Rojak

???? Food wise:
Chendol had a strong gula Melaka taste, soft sweet delicious kidney, and red beans, the green chendol was firm and soft! Very good dessert for the hot weather.

Penang Asam Laksa had a strong aroma and taste from mackerel. The broth was sour and flavourful. The rice noodles were chewy, very Q, and thick. Needed a few bites to break it down into smaller chunks. It had onions, cucumber, chili, mint leaves, and minced sardines. This dish was probably not for me mackerel. It depends on each person's preferences.

Rojak had mangoes, pineapple, tau pok, cucumbers, and tunip, quite generous portions and they were soft and savoury! The sauce was not only sweet but it also had the taste of prawn paste! Delicious!

✨ Ambience wise: Little squeezy but good enough for food!

???????? Service wise: Great!

???? Price wise:
Laksa: 6.50 RM
Chendol 4.40 RM
Rojak 8.50 RM

Always good in flavour but zero customer service. It is the most favourite eatery in Penang that every queue for it chendol. Dine in option got laksa, rojak and many other street food options.it is a tourist spot, so sometime the staff can be rude. The store across from them are equally tasty.

There was a huge queue outside waiting for the takeaway chendol but thankfully there is also a shop that you can sit down and eat. So that is what we did
We had the chendol and also the rojak
The chendol was fine but overall the place is really cramped and small and not very well ventilated , so it’s not that nice on a hot day

Thehe dine in place was very busy, chaotic and hot. Cendol is fresh and nice, but other food I tried such as laksa, it's totally tasteless; pai tee and the popiah, I'm so not use to the wet vege texture, so I give it a 1 star for those.

This is the first chain establishment of the famous Penang Road Teochew cendol. Service is quick. Touristy prices. Cleanliness could be better. Stuffy u0026 uncomfortable for long periods. Always a crowd.

The cendol somehow doesn't taste the same. Rather diluted. We also tried their char kway teow, asam laksa u0026 oyster omelette. All were pretty good u0026 freshly made. The kuih bakul was yummy as well with the soft oozy nian gao.

Overall worth a visit but the crowds can be a pain.
