Interesting spiritual experience. You can climb the stairs and get to the temple at the top where you'll have monks welcoming you for a prayer. Be careful about the monkeys, they are not that nice. There is a museum on the ground floor as well.

Beautiful, spectacular and one heck of a climb. Lots of monkeys, please tread carefully. I went in the evening about 4pm so it wasn't hot, quite cool and was a lovely climb up 272 steps. Probably won't do it again but definitely something to do at least once in your lifetime.

Unique religious place. A must visit for tourists. For females, we were required to dress decently or else you can buy a cover up just before you start climbing up the stairs for RM12. Weather can get very hot even in the morning so I would suggest to go there as early as possible.

My all time favourite devotional place and give peace of mind.
Besides praying and visiting sightseeing like Cave Villa, naughty Monkeys are captivating attractions there. Most of monkeys there are playfull but be careful with your belongings especially food items, they tend to steal ????

This is a really nice place. There are more than 200 steps and may be. 50 more steps inside. The view and inside cave is great. The coconut water was refreshing. I was told that the temple gets closed by 1pm.

Beautiful 400-million year old limestone formations, with colourful sacred Hindu shrines built inside.

The 42.7m Lord Murugan statue is stunning.

One of the highlights is feeding the families of monkeys and pigeons at the entrance!

Absolutely worth a visit.

The cave itself is quite small.
If you're feeling adventurous, rock climbing routes are available all around the Batu Caves.

Fun experience and impressive to see the Batu caves in person. Definitely recommend going there also beware that the monkeys WILL steal your food and drinks if you carry them in a plastic bag. They are literally everywhere and are not afraid of humans at all.

Apart from that the caves are very cool and the climb up the stairs is definitely worth it - also because the view from up there is spectacular as well.
