People always say Old is Gold. This is surely one of the most beautiful mosques in Malaysia. Built in 1912, this masjid is still standing beautiful in the centre of the town. Classic look and a major attraction of Alor Setar.

If you are into architecture enthuasism, then this is a must visit place for you if you come to Alor Setar. Was built on 1912, yet still having a very strong structure despite of its age.

Usually this is a spot for newly wed-couple to take outdoor photos. Great building with a nice view.

Have always wanted to come visit.
It is a great mosque, classic in design with modern upgrade given for comfort of the jamaah, airy, peaceful, simply beautiful, magestic, subhanAllah...Alor Star people are so lucky to live around it.

Nicely preserved at the heart of Alor Star. Enjoy the stunning architecture. Check daily sermon/ceramah to purify your souls. Dont forget to buy “acar buah”, delicious savory before you left.

This masjid is really beautiful, it has classic and elegant design. Must visit when you're in Alor Setar. Best come at noon time during Dzuhur prayer time.

Legendary mosque in Kedah, visiting this place always brings up that nostalgic vibes. Calmness and serenity, beautifully and artistically fine. A very good spot for a photoshoot session.
